It seems that I update my blog twice per month. Personally, I think that that is too little, but lack of time is the most obvious reason for not updating more.
At this point, we (Esther and me) and myself seem to be doing quite fine. School is on the roll (at least: an part of it), work is doing “a-ok”, and looking for work…. mwoa.
Couchsurfing first. The amount of energy flowing through the techteam is quite amazing. Tomorrow (that is friday for the fellows in the US of A!), we’ll have a techmeeting at skype. There are lots of things to discuss, including the setup of a few new webservers, new imageservers, new databaseservers and a new slave-database-server. All running on CentOS5, PHP5 and MySQL5.
The outgoing mail which I fixed previous week (the outbound mail for Couchsurfing, including vouches, Couchsurf-requests, and the mud of Brainstorm 1), is just running fine. The backups are ok until some extend, and communication in, from and to the system administrators is being set up via RT (an ticketsystem I used previously, and am using in my commercial life). So that is ok.
School is running ok. Since I’m quite easy to be distracted with all the energy flowing around and near me, I just decided to finish this blogpost, and then will get back to economics. Economics should be finished by now. I’m working too long on this paper, and need to go further with school.
For instance with BiSL. BiSL is an technique you can use to check the information-flows in your company. That project runs, but has some hickups because of the members. More to follow on that item.
And then work. The Zadkine College is not at an total hold, but doesn’t have the speed that I want it to have. I’m still waiting at some response of Zadkine. Esther already asked me if I would fit in that sort of company (with the speed, or better, lack of speed). So I brushed up my monsterboard account.
That’s it for now. First economics. Then BiSL. Then neckshot.
